They've done a nice job of allowing you to package your simulations in ways that can be communicated to non-simulation experts. The unique power of this program is that it supports (and combines) multiple simulation techniques - discrete event and system dynamics, which are not combined in similar tools elsewhere. I particularly appreciate that all of the simulations in the famous "Business Dynamics" book are available. The PLE version is Free, but is definitely a crippled demo - you can only run simulations up to a simulated hour, which in the demos I tried was less than 5 minutes of simulation time.ĪnyLogic is really powerful, and a well put-together program. I'm reviewing the "Personal Learning Edition" of AnyLogic, which is now up to version 7.1.2. Road Traffic Library / Graphical Editor: Fixed bug: The Road element could be moved to another level upon its modification in the Projects view.Process Modeling Library: If a ResourcePool block contains an error in the downtime distribution, the resulting error message now points out the problematic block.Material Handling Library / Graphical editor: It is now impossible to connect more than one path to the network port in the graphical editor.Material Handling Library: Fixed bug: In the models having a non-default scale, crane trolleys could sometimes move at the incorrect height.Material Handling Library: Fixed bug: Transporter control: The number of collision resolution steps was calculated incorrectly.Material Handling Library: The name of the transporter type cannot be changed in runtime anymore.Material Handling Library: A new API function, getConveyingSpeed(), returns the speed with which the conveyor moves the material item.Pedestrian Library: Improved performance in models that use the Pedestrian Library. It is ubiquitous in factory design, business process reengineering, logistics/supply chain and many other disciplines.
#ANYLOGIC TORRENT FOR MAC#
The object-oriented model design paradigm supported by AnyLogic provides for modular, hierarchical, and incremental construction of large models.ĪnyLogic is the only advanced Discrete Event modeling environment available for Mac users - and discrete event is the most common commercial application of simulation. AnyLogic's graphical interface, tools, and library objects allows you to quickly model diverse areas such as manufacturing and logistics, business processes, human resources, consumer and/or patient behavior. The unique flexibility of the modeling language enables the user to capture the complexity and heterogeneity of business, economic and social systems to any desired level of detail. AnyLogic is the only tool that supports all the most common simulation methodologies in place today: System Dynamics, Process-centric (AKA Discrete Event), and Agent Based modeling.
